The Inquirer reported that Romeo Jalosjos has just built a P1.2 billion theme park "which targets children".
Said to be the biggest in all of Mindanao, he's branded it Gloria's Fantasyland.
What's with the name?
Some see it as his ploy to get full pardon in order to be eligible to run for public office.
There's something not right about the whole concept though.
Which escapes me right now.
Can't put my finger on what exactly it is.
Because laughter is the best instant vacation from Pinoy politics...

Batasan moves to new site...
Philippine congressmen are the hardest working in the world.
Even if the legislative body will soon be on recess, most of its members have chosen to continue toiling and have decided to call a special session at MGM Las Vegas on Nov. 14.
A source of pride... the congressmen's exemplary dedication makes paying taxes well worth it.

A Manny-Loren Tandem?
Last Friday, the crying Senadora kept the whole nation in suspense with a highly anticipated scheduled announcement. It turned out to be a dud. No significant matter was disseminated.
She did, however, announced that she was launching her 'green' candidacy. Green as in dollars? Or green as in nature's greenery? Nobody genuinely knows.
The 'no-announcement' announcement made naughty minds go on overdrive and conclude that a Villar-Legarda alliance was in the offing.
What do you think?
Will this partnership work?
Does it have 'legs' (aside from Loren's, of course)?
In the interest of electoral enlightenment, we have a scientific way to find out.
All you need to do is to check a box. That simple.

Oh, no he did it again...
I thought he had mended his ways... akala ko natuto na sa sunud-sunod na PR fiasco (packs of mami, bottles of mineral water with his logo/icon) na kaniyang hinarap. Mali pala ang akala ko.
Mr. Sipag at Tiyaga reappeared in Wowowee and gave out houses and lots to the winning medicant-minded audience. Once again.
He is absolutely relentless... hungry to be the next resident of the house by the stinking Pasig River.
A Villar presidency in the horizon? God forbid... WAWA WE!

Punung-Puno Na... Fed up with Politics
This has got to be the most expensive learning experience ever.
After spending (at least) P300M in advertising, DILG Secretary Ronnie Puno has decided to withdraw from the vice presidential race. His epiphany came to pass when he went around the country and discovered that the people's welfare was more important than "personal ambitions".
However, he didn't touch on a point that should have been a greater cause for concern: he was in for a tough fight with formidable contenders like Mar Roxas, Loren Legarda, Jojo Binay and perhaps... Vilma Santos or Gwen Garcia.
Wow... P300M. The networks aren't complaining. The ad agency (with its creatively-challenged firepower) is certainly not.
But... sad... that kind of money could have built hundreds of classrooms. Could have done a lot for public welfare.
Last time I checked, that kind of money doesn't grow on trees.
Or does it?

The Great Noynoy Make-over
Kris has been egging her brod to go for a make-over for the longest time. (Quite possibly, poor Noynoy is clueless on what his kid sister really has in mind... and though he wants to ask, he can never quite interrupt her endless chatter.) Well, every little bit helps... so some fashion trendsetters got together and brainstormed on how they would attack this political frontrunner's fashion dilemma. Things are looking up, Noy!
And remember, Noy, 'di ka nag-iisa. Even the world's most powerful leaders go for make-overs all the time...
